My opinion on this is that there are many different reasons for teens committing suicide, trying to commit suicide or self harming themselves. All these reasons are in the heads of the teens, there could be 1 or 100 reasons why. Parents nor anybody else besides the teen can understand why they want too or are trying to. Bullying is definitely a major reason for this but nobody can give an accurate answer, nor can stop the thoughts, the teen needs to believe in themselves or see a therapist for depression. Teens and adults can take pills for this, but theres no guarantee that medication can prevent this from occurring.
